Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Pine Financial is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of loan applications and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
