Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Quill Energy and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
