Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Ashton Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
