Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Baltimore, MD)

Northwind Bright Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Baltimore. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
