Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Atlanta, GA)

Summit Loom Insurance Partners sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Atlanta, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
