Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Bridge Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
