Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Mill Transit Planning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
