Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Anchorage, AK)

Nova River Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
