Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Albuquerque, NM)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Nest Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
