Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Albuquerque, NM)

Highbridge Wilder Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Albuquerque. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
