Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Granite Water Authority Partners is a public water utility serving the Virginia Beach area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 301 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
