Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Cedar Legal Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for trust accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 351 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of trust accounts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
