Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Virginia Beach design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
