Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Virginia Beach design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
