Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Junction Water Authority Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 86 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification.
