Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit Learning Group is an education provider in Virginia Beach serving students and families, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
