Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Toledo, OH)

Fernwood Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Toledo plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 864 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Model the cost of customer orders and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
