Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Toledo, OH)

Summit River Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Toledo. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
