Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Tampa, FL)

Harborlight Sable Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
