Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (St. Louis, MO)

Amberfield Hollow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the St. Louis region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Model the cost of service connections and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
