Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Spokane, WA)

Cedar Fox Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
