Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Spokane, WA)

Harborlight Cobalt Markets serves neighbourhoods around Spokane with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 71 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
