Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Savannah, GA)

Lumen Nest Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pipe repairs.
