Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Savannah, GA)

Cedar North Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Savannah. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 384 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
