Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Savannah, GA)

Rivermark Beacon Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Savannah and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
