Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Haven Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from San Diego, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of vendor spend and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • A relevant degree or certification.
