Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Summit Haven Financial is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of vendor spend and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
