Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (San Diego, CA)

Clearpath Bright Water Authority is a public water utility serving the San Diego area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 141 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
