Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Sable Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
