Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Richmond, VA)

Bluepeak Labs provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Richmond. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with deposit accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
