Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Northwind Vale Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Reno. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
