Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Reno, NV)

Summit Nest Markets is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
