Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Vista Learning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
