Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Clearpath Lantern Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Albuquerque, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
