Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Bluepeak Junction Markets is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
