Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Summit Lakeside Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around Cincinnati, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
