Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Westbrook Ember Markets serves neighbourhoods around Baltimore with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
