Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Keystone Energy is an energy provider in Baltimore focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
