Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Clearpath River Markets Group is a Chicago retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
