Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Greenridge River Markets is a Grand Rapids retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of promotions and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
