Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Cedar North Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Charleston. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
