Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Corner Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Birmingham. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
