Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Northwind Harbor Civic Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 676 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
