Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Rivermark Thistle Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Milwaukee. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
