Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Silverline Corner Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Jose, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
