Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Ironwood Fern Foods Group is a Memphis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of production batches and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
