Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Fernwood Ivory Foods is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules.
