Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Vale Markets and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of supplier deliveries and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
