Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Lumen Haven Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Salt Lake City, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
