Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Greenridge Linden Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Cincinnati. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
